Don Royse
Principal, Don Royse heads up our Seattle office and travels regularly to our Houston office. Don brings to the practice a background in architecture and urban planning. Former Chairman of the Seattle Design Commission, he received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of California at Berkley and his PhD in Urban Design and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is Professor Emeritus at Washington University in St. Louis. While in St. Louis, in addition to his practice with Royse/Eagleton Architects, he was Full Professor at Washington University, and Chairman of its Master’s Program in Architecture & Urban Design and Director of Inter-Disciplinary Studies. He served as the first Director of Urban Design for the City of St. Louis from 1991-1994 during a sabbatical from his teaching responsibilities, and before relocating to Seattle.

Heidi Dellafera Eagleton
Principal, Heidi Eagleton heads up our Houston office. Her background is in architecture and in law. She received her undergraduate degree in Government from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts and her J.D. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where she practiced construction contract law before leaving law to study architecture. She received her Master’s Degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis in 1986. Prior to becoming a principal with Royse/Eagleton Architects, she was an associate with Hoffman Partnership and Ittner & Bowersox in St. Louis. Now living in Houston, she is an inactive member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, a member of the Rice Design Alliance, the Bayou Preservation Association, an adjunct Professor of architecture at Prairie View A & M University School of Architecture, and President of Open, Design & Development, Inc.
